Once registered, the exam-taker will have 365 days to prepare, study, and take the exam. It is essential to schedule the examination at least 30 days prior to the completion of the 365-day period to secure the preferred exam schedule. Requests for exam scheduling within 20-30 days of the completion of the 365-day validity period cannot be considered. Those needing to schedule their exam after the given period must pay a nominal fee through the myTSI dashboard.
If the exam-taker fails to show up for the exam as scheduled they will be marked as 'No-Show’. To appeal this classification, the exam-taker should contact TSI within 48-96 hours of the missed exam for consideration. Further information regarding the appeals process can be found on the policy page
Exam-takers are required to log in to their myTSI dashboard at least 72 hours before the scheduled examination. Rescheduling the exam in less than 72 hours ahead of the designated time will incur a nominal fee of USD 50, which must be paid through the myTSI dashboard.
If the exam-taker wishes to cancel the exam, they should log into their myTSI dashboard 72 hours before their scheduled examination. To reschedule the exam after voluntary cancelation, they can promptly reapply from the myTSI dashboard by paying a nominal fee of USD 50.
If the exam-taker does not pass the examination on their initial attempt, they may apply for a re-examination after their results have been posted on their myTSI dashboard. A nominal fee of USD 50 is applicable and the new exam date should be scheduled at that time.
